About Me

Hi!  Thanks for stopping by my website.   I'm not the great writer, but here is a little bit about me.

I have always loved animals but never dreamed it would be my career.   I graduated college with a degree in Finance and began  working  as a financial analyst out of college.    As each year passed I found myself a little more unhappy in my career.   Then one fateful day I  adopted a dog, Bailey from a animal shelter.  The moment I laid eyes on him, I had never been so sure that he was meant to spend his life with me, it's a feeling I can barely even describe but it was very clear.   Soon after I adopted Bailey, I decided I wanted to volunteer at the shelter and asked what they needed.  I had sent them practically hundreds of photos of Bailey and so they said why don't you help us take photos of the dogs needing homes, and so the journey began, and I found my true passion in life as a result.  To this day, I still photograph rescue dogs and rescue dogs hold a very special place in my heart.

In 1998, I decided life was too short to be doing something I dreaded everyday so I started my pet photography business and soon after became a full-time pet photographer.   It's been an amazing journey!  Doing what I love is like a dream come true.   I have had the chance to photograph so many wonderful animals and meet incredible people.     Every animal is special in their own way, and I love that about them, they all teach great lessons  and give us so much joy and unconditional love.   My goal l is to capture that "something special" about your pet, to provide a portrait that will touch your soul....are that you can cherish forever.   Your pet is worth that!!

Bailey, lived to be almost 17, he truly changed my life in so many wonderful ways, I thank God for that dog for showing me the way in life.      The lessons he taught me were endless... to always be kind, to make friends wherever you go and to always follow your passion and your heart!  He inspired my tag line " For the Love of Dogs' for that is truly why I do what I do!

Today, I am married and have an 8 year old son, Blake and have 2 amazing rescue dogs, Sissy and Romeo.   I love spending time with friends, hiking with the dogs, and doing dog agility... and sometimes having a good margarita.   My heart is full!

I hope you to meet you and your special pet(s) for a session soon!
